His qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering, a Master of Structural Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Certified Detailer by the National Institute of Steel Detailing. His practicing engineering experience has been with Sargent & Lundy, Valdes Engineering and BlueScope Buildings North America.
